Oh no no no....I got my epidural at 9 centimeters (last minute decision) and he had ONE chance to do it and that was it. It was done correctly the first time..they get no second tries with me. Although, I think it has caused some bad nerve pain back there, and I will NEVER have another one. congrats on your new baby though!!

I had almost the same thing happen to me. I had 3 cesareans. On my first one, the bastard that put the catheter in did it totally wrong. When they went to inject the medication, my waist up went dead. I couldn't feel myself falling but I saw the floor come at my face. Took several people to grab me before I face planted. I should have sued the asshole.

But on a brighter note -- Congradulations on the gutting. Raising kids gave me a new kind of respect for my mother!
