Waving Woman with Her Legs Crushed Lays Under a Bus
A Brazilian woman, 54, was hit by a bus when she tried to cross the road. The bus driver stopped but her legs were already crushed by the bus wheels. She was rescued by the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu), which had to make use of a hydraulic jack to remove her from underneath the bus. Bernadette had her right leg amputated during a surgical procedure and her condition was considered severe. She continues in the red area of the hospital, where doctors still debate if there is a need to amputate the other leg of the victim also. |

It's amazing what the human body can withstand! I'd be howling like a stuck pig. I know she's probably in shock, but even so...just looking up and seeing a bus on me would make me howl!!  |

So, why wait for the emergency crew to come then wait for the hydraulic jack and all when all they had to do was back the fucking bus up!?  Poor lady! I really hope she got through this with just the one leg amputation... |
