I have a family member who thought they'd breastfeed their son after he started getting his teeth in, she was convinced that he would never bite her. . . . . She ended up in the hospital, getting her nearly severed nipple stitched back on.  |

My daughter had 2 teeth coming in when she was born. Breastfeeding only became an issue, when she decided to wean herself at 9 months old, by biting down hard each feeding.
