Re: Veterinary Cases - Both Common and Weird

Great images and info. Are you a vet or vet tech? I grew up in a typical suburb and as a kid I got shot with a BB gun three times and one of our cats was shot with a bb. It went thru her heart, liver and a lung but holes were so small they basically sealed back up as the bb passed, according to the vet. We didn't know she'd been shot but she wasn't acting right so we took her in to be seen. We had her since she was a week or two old (had to bottle feed and do all things a momma would, even helping her go potty) and had her until she died, at 21. I buried her.

And before anyone asks, NO she really wasn't a sweet loving cat. She acted much different in old age, more loving. But from kitten hood- to around 15, she'd get up on you and be lovey but just for a little bit...but one wrong move and she'd fuck you up. Wasn't uncommon for her to growl, hiss and spit at you for merely walking past her.

Uroliths (urinary stones) are pretty common in animals.
