Re: Vagina Prolapses
actually I had my bladder fall out three months ago. This is pretty commen for women who have given birth and those who have had hysterictomies. (sp?) it is from the new procedure they use. instead of that nasty ugly scar on your tummy they go through your vagina and this causes weakness in the muscles there and either your bladder or colon (which is really dangerous) or your birth canal (vagina) can fall through or your uterius if you still have it. The vagina kind of holds it all in place and if it weakens out they come. It was on the Doctors when I was actually recovering from my surgery to fix my bladder. They tacked it back up with a bladder sling and I am good to go. Now I hear of all kinds of horror stories about these bladder slings, afterwards.
