Re: Uvula Piercing
Yeah, but what about when it comes undone (vibrated to do so by snoring or other things you do while sleeping) while you're asleep and you choke to death breathing in your uvula piercing? And really, why would you want to be constantly saying to people, "Hey, hey, check it out, I got my uvula pierced!" and then have to pretty much shove your gaping mouth into someone's face to show them your piercing. No one wants to be on the receiving end of that, trust me. I had way too many people do that with their tongue piercings and had to smell their bad breath, look at their infected, puss covered tongue, and see all the cavities, fillings, and general nastiness in their mouths while faking a smile and saying "Wow, that's really cool!" Because if you're not shoving that in someone else's face and showing them, then why pierce it? NO ONE CAN SEE THAT! I MIGHT AS WELL HAVE MY SMALL INTESTINE PIERCED!

Re: Uvula Piercing
I like piercings...tongue has been pierced around 10 years now. I won't lie, I have swallowed many ball screws and one actual ring. And yes...a piercing can get infected no matter where it is. I had my bellybutton done and the site never healed until the ring caught on my jeans and ripped out a few months later...go figure. Gotta nice scar out of it though. As for a uvula piercing, no thank you. Wouldn't want to go through my day gagging. But to each their own. |
