Re: Twenty-Six Year Old Man Talks About Dying of Cancer
Geez buddy, go easy man:( I worked as a hospice caregiver for a couple years in Austin. It was truly surprising how long some folks could hang on. The morphine wasn’t what everyone waited for it was the methadone that actually gave the most relief. No one goes to hospice to get better and there is no way I could have stayed there any longer than I did watching what is going on all the time the world over. It was hospice for indigent folks btw. It was terrible at times but I do have some pleasant memories now from that time in my life.
