Trichophagia

Trichophagia is a compulsive eating disorder that involves eating hair, usually one's own, but can also include hair from others, animals, or extensions. The term comes from the Greek words thrix meaning "hair" and phagein meaning "eating". People with trichophagia may suck, chew, or swallow hair, and it's often done subconsciously.
