Can you get your tonsils out for this reason, will insurance pay for this reason? I know when people get sore throats they'll do it but wasn't sure if you could request it & doctors will take them out for this reason. I get them & I hate it, I'd definitely like to have my tonsils taken out!

My daughter's insurance paid for all, less the deductible, of course. Her consulting surgeon said to her that its a bit more involved than a child's tonsillectomy. She also had her adenoids removed during the surgery, I guess that's why.

I had my tonsils removed but me being me.....had to have the fuckers grow back, it's rare but does happen if the surgeon leaves a bit too much tissue...
