In any case, group this under the "Weird/gross/disturbing" section of your mind. Skip right to around 0:46 to see the tonsil teeth!

Re: Tonsil Stones or Teeth? YOU Make the Decision!
It says in the video it's tonsilloliths which are tonsil stones. A lump of calcified material in the tonsils, the fleshy pads at the back of the throat. Your tonsils are filled with nooks and crannies where bacteria and other things, including dead cells and mucus, can get trapped. When this happens, the debris can bond together. Tonsil stones form when this debris hardens, or calcifies. |

Re: Tonsil Stones or Teeth? YOU Make the Decision!
My daughter had tonsil stones regularly until recently when she finally had a tonsillectomy at age 25. She is a singer so she was worried the process would alter her voice. Nope. She was fine after about three weeks. Tonsil stones are vile, smelly litttle bitches when they come out. |

Re: Tonsil Stones or Teeth? YOU Make the Decision!
I was around the same age when I had my tonsillectomy, it has been the best decision I've ever made. Haven't had tonsil stones since.
