I've been down this road while I was in the autobody repair business for 30yrs, smashed, cut, whacked and smooshed my digits more times than I can count. Lost several nails and fingertips through it all, even have 2 fused knuckles because I hadn't had them taken care of properly.
Eye injuries were prevalent as well.
