Hi guys,

I've been to a doctor 2 weeks ago, but my sore throat just won't disappear... (4 weeks since it started). Can someone tell me what the heck is that black dot in my throat? I realised today that this is the region that hurts when I swallow (I'm kinda worried). It looks like a fucking cavity.

Yarp, looks like tonsil stones! I got those once before. Rinsed with sea salt and water a few times and they loosened and fell out.

You'll end up with tonsil stones/lots of infections..

(However, it appears you've already had a tonsillectomy... Yeh.. either way..get it checked.)

Thank you. I'll get it checked asap. Nope, I didn't have tonsillectomy. I'm 100% sure.

I get one or two tonsil stones the size of pin heads every few months. And yes, they do stink when dried out and exposed to air.
