Third Degree Burns To My Foot!
Burned the hell outta my right foot! Doctor’s talking about skin grafting this weekend. Me being diabetic helped him to consider skin grafting. Said waiting for it to heal would only put me at risk for infection, due to the fact that Diabetics heal very slowly. Bear with me here. If it doesn’t work, I’ try to post it as a reply

Re: Third Degree Burns To My Foot!
Just cut it off it's clearly only a matter of time with those nasty feet.

Diabetic neuropathy, a curse but I've come across plenty of burned feet where it's a blessing to be numb.

Don't listen to them, PsychodelicTurtle, everyone's feet are fucking disgusting. But seriously, did you spill boiling water, or wtf happened? |

Re: Third Degree Burns To My Foot!
To answer your question, my nephew, walking through my livingroom, moved my space heater a little too close. I was asleep so I didn’t notice. I do have neuropathy in both my feet. Also, Charcot Arthropathy. I have had two broken bones in each foot as a preteen/teenager that never healed correctly, which is what sped up the Charcot Arthropathy. My father was abusive & neglectful & didn’t like spending money on doctors for my lol sis & me. We just “walked” the injuries off. Limped around until they healed & went on with life. Diabetes runs so thickly in BOTH sides of my family, even the scrawny-as-hell relatives have it! I didn’t start getting fat until AFTER becoming diabetic. But, I am getting better! I am getting it under control, unlike my late father. |
