How can you even tell that right away? Apgars are done at 1 and 5 minutes. And low scores are extremely common at the amount of time we saw.

Since I wasn't there during delivery and I've only seen the same video as you, I can only call it a hunch based on the depth of cyanosis and lack of any movement compared to other deliveries I've witnessed. I may be entirely wrong and hopefully I am.

Either way, the baby’s screwed.  Seriously though, I don’t think the baby was well either. It just doesn’t look ‘right’. I hope they were both alright. |
