Re: There is Something Wrong With my Foot
It doesn't actually. Have bathed it with some peroxide solution and it looks a lot better. Next time the podiatrist comes calling for my Mum's feet I'll ask her to look at mine. I appreciate the comments. If it turns into anything gross or serious or starts to fall off, I'll post more pics. |

First, carefully scrape off as many flakes as you can using a clean sharp knife. Next, test to see if it is yeast by using some of the flakes to bake bread. If the dough rises, it's yeast. If the dough doesn't rise, try making some cheese...cause it's probably bacteria. |

Most likely a fungal infection, but do see a doctor about it. Better safe than sorry, trust me.

Re: There is Something Wrong With my Foot
I sometimes have elevated blood sugar levels. My doctor demanded I remove my socks and shoes and was surprised I didn't have athletes foot. If I don't watch my diet and let my blood sugar remain elevated for long periods I can get athletes foot. According to my doctor the two items are related. Having elevated blood sugar levels and being overweight can contribute to this condition. At least that's what my doctor said. For sure some personal hygiene and better diet can't hurt. |
