my niece still sucks her damn thumb at almost 18. her teeth sort of look that way, I know they are starting to point outward. I've told my grandmother, who's been raising her since a baby, to get a device from the dentist put in her mouth to stop the thumb sucking, but she won't do it. guess she wants my nieces teeth to point at a 90 degree angle.  |

my sister did that until she was over 18 probably still does but me and my other sisters used to pull her thjumb out and bet how long before she popped it back in...lol

I don't think so since a binky is so much softer and squishier than one's own thumb so it wouldn't be hard enough to move teeth.

Not true. My daughter had teeth like that, until we finally got her to give it up. Her teeth eventually straightened out though.
