Re: Sometimes..dogs Just Suck
The majority of this could be prevented by proper training, and proper owners. I have met 100's of large breed dogs, pits, labs, german sheps, dobies, rotties, I've worked on them as a veterinarian technician. The only dog to attempt to bite me, was a chiuahua.. damn I hate small dogs. |

Re: Sometimes..dogs Just Suck
Yeah but do animals commit mass murders or genocide? Or enjoy killing people, beat animals to death, burn people and animals to death, sometimes just because they want to??? Very rarely. It normally is the owners fault, I never blame the animal. Its mostly either because they're guard dogs trained to be territorial, in defense or cause they've been treated harshly.

Re: Sometimes..dogs Just Suck
I will say one thing on this topic about these dogs. They are banned for a reason. The reason is no matter how well trained, how well loved, how raised, how obedient that these dogs are.......... they are still dogs, an animal. They can have a bad day, make errors in judgement, get startled & reflex do something totally against their nature. The problem is when this unexpected attack happens ....these dogs are so muscular & powerful they are almost an unstoppable destructive force. They present a danger like no other breed of dog due to their sheer power. They usually dont have a quick angry snap. When they go off they attack until its over !!!. Many will disagree with me but this is certainly not a breed of dog I would want around children.... no matter how placid or well trained they are. |
