A pit bull took a chunk out of a girls face just down the street from me. The little girl lives next door and was about 5 houses away on the other side of the street at a friends. The dog bit her unprovoked. She had a tennis ball size of flesh taken out of her buttock to put in her face to replace the flesh. The flesh was eaten by the dog and could not be saved. The dog was euthanized. A year later all pit bulls were banned here. It was the third time in less then 6 months children were attacked. The girl still has a discolored chunk of flesh that they put in and obvious scarring but she is alive and happy. She just went swimming with my daughter yesterday. The poor girl lives with her grandfather. Dead beat mom and dad never married and never see her. They are not together. She never sees her dad and her mom comes around about once every three months.

Dont blame the dog, its the owners fault. If you dont train the dog properly the dog will do this kind of stuff. I myself have 4 pitbulls and they are the sweetest animals I ever had, they give my kids piggyback rides and guards them, but they have never bitten anyone and Ive had them for 3 years. so blame the owners.  |

So it IS in them  We never trained our dogs - spaniel, jack russell, scottish terriers, alsatian - and they never ever ever bit or suchlike. |

I know, some dogs are nice by nature, but the Pitbull is bread to kill, but with the proper training they become like a little lamb.
