Re: She's Kinda Sexy
The unburned parts of her are attractive: The burn scars are gross just like any other burn scar. They look gross and I'm sure touching them feels gross. Harsh but true.

Re: She's Kinda Sexy
Yes, definitely. She either could have allowed the scars to ruin her life and never allow another person to see or touch them... or accept them and feel good about them. It's great for her... she could be in a living hell and all depressed but she seems to have a great attitude. I don't know how other burn victims would feel about her. As for me I just couldn't live like that... I'd rather die (and she's not even THAT badly burned... I can't even imagine how I'd feel if I was one of those completely disfigured folks). |

Re: She's Kinda Sexy
I find the confidence in being photographed very appealing, scars or not, the persons body isn't what I'm after when it comes to what I find attractive.. if she has no qualms about showing her burned body, then she would have nothing holding her back in any other part of her life.. that's sexy beyond words. A completely self confident lady is amazing.

Re: She's Kinda Sexy
Thank you. No one WANTS to be burned as that is probably one of the most painful things someone can endure. But as in the case of your friend, there are stories behind the burns and the courage this girl shows to bare her badly scarred skin shows a courage most posters here will never have. To me she is beautiful, scars and all. |

Re: She's Kinda Sexy
She is definitely NOT disgusting. I admire her courage, in both getting through the pain of the burns and for being comfortable in her own skin. Our skin is just the outer layer. It truly is what a person IS that makes them disgusting or bad. Nothing to do with colour of skin, type of skin, or anything else. Here's hoping that the person who called it disgusting never has to suffer what she did. |
