Re: Sharon's Brain Haemorrhage When Aged 19
Sharon, you KNOW it pisses me off when ppl's bump threads, but this one already was.....so I can post and not feel guilty!! All I have to say is "WOW"! I don't know if you have seen my "story" in past threads about my medical past, but I feel for you. Not only was I in the month-long coma with irreparably damaged kidneys, scarred liver and 7 heart attacks, but also had a double disc replacement surgery and (2) two 12-inch rods placed in my back before age 30. My docs had me on "the meds" at one point, too (including Fentanyl patches 50 mcg). Thankfully, I am no longer on the meds, but I understand, as in your case, that they are sometimes needed. I can remember thinking that I would love to be able not to have to take them and just "be normal". I have to take other meds everyday, still, and wish I didn't. I wish you the best!! Maybe one day I will post my "coma" pics (during and just waking up when I was still unawares and trying to bite people....yeah, I know, but you revert back to animalistic behaviour) and post-surg from the back. I'm still touchy about it, though......too soon. Sorry this one was long, but you guys, I'm sure, have grown to love for that!! |

Re: Sharon's Brain Haemorrhage When Aged 19
Oh wow, 19? That's crazy. I've been having terrible migraines and headaches almost every day. Light aversion, nausea, flashing spots in my eyes, bad balance. None of my doctors seem to be too concerned but the headaches are in the same spot all the time. I think I'll make an appointment with a neurologist first thing Monday. |
