what i am wondering about is why did they waited that long to make remedies? I would not care whatever it is or how much it costs, if it starts to bother me, i'll take it off before it gets worse.

Sometimes these idiots wear the rings to bed. If it's already snug to begin with, and then you swell up while sleeping, there is a chance you can wake up with it like this.
