Oh Boo, the infamous septal perforation. *sigh*. I really should take pictures of mine, it is pretty big. I had a large tumor removed from my sinuses several years ago, and the doctor accidentally cut off the blood supply to my septum. I sneezed huge chunks of goo for months after the surgery, and one day a staple came out. My husband looked up one nostril with a pen light, only to see the light shining on the other side. It hasn't gotten any bigger, it just hangs out, really. You have to look really far up to see it, it goes back to the nasopalatal bone. |

i had a bone spur removed from my nose a little over a year ago, docs said if i breathed through my nose with force(which was clogged with blood and mucus), even a little, i could literally blow out my septum, all better now, its amazing to know what its like to breathe, smell, and taste normally
