When I had great natural nails, I was very aware of cleaning them after eating or touching anything. To me, it's common sense. I'm a bit of a germaphobe and I'm happy about it.

I saw a woman on some weird addiction show and her toenails were like 5 inches long, except the little toes. Her finger nails were worse. I think it's nasty. My nails hurt when I typed with 1/2 to 3/4" of natural nail.

This woman got acrylic put on them. Her toe nails take two hours to do. I don't know which was worse - seeing her in sandals or when she wore socks with pants and everything black with the toes hanging over.
