Re: Scars Do Not Change a Person
Ppl that do malicious stuff like this should be charged with a capital crime seeing that so many victims wither on in agony for years then die as a result of the injuries. Its up there with pedophiles, and cowardly.

Re: Scars Do Not Change a Person
Actually her name is Labonya Siddiqui, 21 years old, and originally from Bangladesh. She was burned when she was 8 years old from an accident when a match she was handling lighted a kerosene lamp. She's had a hard life growing up with the scars from the cruel taunts and comments both in her native country as well as in the UK where her family moved to when she was 11. Good to see her now empowering herself. From some of the other comments on here, yes she does mention that acid attacks against women do happen in her native country and there is a stigma against women with any scars. Her incredible story at this news link: http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/real-li...change-1423312 |
