Re: Scar from Hip Replacement
It was hereditary from my father. I have always played sports and only had problems with my knees. I graduated cosmetology school about 6 years ago and the busier I became the more it hurt. I was just building my business so I just sucked it up until I had no choice but to get it fixed. |

Re: Scar from Hip Replacement
Get better soon and thanks for sharing! My mom is probably going to have to have a hip replacement as well as a knee replacement surgery soon. We are kind of nervous. The pain and stress of the healing of it all is what concerns us the most but we will just take it one day at a time. Or one hour at a time if we have too.

Re: Scar from Hip Replacement
It's been less than 2 weeks post surgery and already walking alone. I'm off all pain meds and it feels better than it has in years. I hope she has it as easy as I have. I would have done it sooner had I known.
