Mosquitoes and other people kill like 20-100x more humans than dogs, and with dogs the deaths are mostly due to rabies, not mauling.

Stupid question probably, but were the dogs aiming specifically for her face? Clearly she has some chomps on her legs and it looks like lower back, but after that it seems that's where all the chewing was happening...
