Wow that is such a good observation. That tripped me out thinking about that. I spent a few weeks in a Institution after dad shot mom and they were very good to me there. I was completely out there too. I needed help and they helped me- so whenever somebody speaks badly of mental institutions I always say, give it a chance...  |

Looks like he was lucky and took it to the lower jaw. Probably fractured some bones in the area and got a concussion, but very survivable. Him waking up and stretching at that moment likely saved his life or protected him from more serious injury at least.

It's definitely on a person to person basis, i'd say my week in a mental institution 10 years ago was pretty fucked up. I didn't want help either so wasn't much they could do. I'm glad you found success in your experience!
