Could have been, I have removed drains from a number of people (tubes contected to low suction containers to help remove excess blood and fluid after surgery), and they can be that long- although I don't know why the drain container was removed and not the attached tubing?? - Or he could just be a mental patient with an eating disorder. I looked after this chick once who had swallowed a metal butter knife and it was just sitting in her oesophagus. The x-rays were brilliant to see!
