Exactly what I was thinking. The only thing that I can imagine would be a reason for someone to avoid going to a doctor is because of the embarrassment. And I don't think some people realize that avoiding things simply because they're embarrassed, only makes it ten times worse in the end.

A wound like that CAN occur quite rapidly.That could have started as a tiny frigging boil-it probably started tunneling under the skin because it was farming some nasty bacteria crap.By the time they get to the OR they find extensvie areas of rotten flesh...Fat diabetics are prone to this sort of thing but other people can end up with things like that also.It may not have anything to do with cleanliness...
