Re: Ring Implant into Cornea (Keratoconus)
I reduce from 16 dioptics to 3 on the worse eye. Right after get done, I get some halos, doted halos like a ferris wheel around lights at night. Also get a brigther perception of blue colors After 2 years the brain filter that and i cant see no halos or color predominance now. My eyes are more sensitive to presure/impact/wind but no swelling or scars. |

Re: Ring Implant into Cornea (Keratoconus)
Anvaje, thank you for this post. I also have Keratoconus. My vision with glasses is awful, and I also have RAPD Optic Neuropathy in my right eye. Basically, something is attacking my optic nerve on the right. We don't know yet what it is. I am not able to tolerate gas permeable lenses, so I have not been able to be fitted for contacts which is what will allow proper correction for this eye disease. I have an appointment with my corneal specialist next week. I am wondering if getting the corneal ring would change the shape enough to enable me to then wear a soft lens again. At any rate, thanks for the post. I don't meet to many of "us". |
