I used to have bad ear infections as a child. I remember once my pediatrician used a hook-like tool to remove a large black chunk from my ear canal. Mom was so impressed, she saved it in a tissue.

How big was it? OMG I WISH I had oily earwax now then I can have it cleaned out like that, having dry flaky earwax means I have basically no earwax

It was probably the size of a quarter. Ear infections suck.
