Re: Removal Of Ingrown Toenail With Pliers
I've removed one myself before but exercised basic common-sense as I was a dental nurse and mortician so know about basic hygiene and sterilisation. Fresh boiling water poured over your instrument of choice is as good as you can achieve in the home. Then bathe wound in warm salt water and cover with non-stick sterile dressing. Keep dry too. Monitor it and you know what, I have never ever got an infection Take 400mg Ibuprofen 30mins before so it kicks in once the deed is done so it mutes the pain a bit. So off you go, get yer toolboxes out (not really recommended unless your pliers are brand new out of packaging!!) |
