Some of the problems with this is what might happen to women who get raped and don't have it. Then everyone will be like "oh she got raped, but she deserved it for not using rapex", and you'll need to wear it everywhere you go, all the time. And if you do wear one and someone tried to rape you, I wonder how mad and crazy the guy would become cause of the pain. He might try to kill you too.

This "invention" has been out for a very long time but there are no cases of it ever being used. It's probably the worst self-defense device ever made. Any self-defense device should incapacitate the attacker. This "Rape-X" condom simply cuts and supposedly latches on to the flesh (how was this tested?). Sure that would hurt, but it would not incapacitate the attacker. The testicles are the most sensitive part of male genitalia, putting razor cuts on the shaft simply guarantees a rape turns into a murder. For this device to even work, the man must already have the woman overpowered and is inserting his dick, definitely not a good time for him to breakout into an even more violent rage (the woman is already overpowered).

Also, in areas in Africa where rape is common. All it would take is one or two successful uses of this condom before word would quickly spread that the women in the area were given these devices. It would take all of 1 second for the rapist to check his victim with his finger and pull it out. If he want to make a point, he could turn put the condom on his dick inside-out then proceed with the rape. At that point, I'm sure ever single Rape-X condom that was handed out would be given back or destroyed.

It was invented by a man-hating woman that wants nothing more than to see or hear about some dicks being cut... regardless of what happens to the women that used her device.
