Falaka beating is a traditional method of torture. The feet are held high up on a chair or a desk or by tying to a stick. The policeman starts beating the victim's soles by a stick or a baton. Rarely,the beating involve the dorsum of the feet as shown

n spite of well known deadly effect of electricity and availability of equipments, suicide by electrocution is quite rare.
Since electric burns can be produced after death,alleged suicide by electrocution should be carefully investigated.
The victim just wired his left ankle and a ring in the left thumb. The path of the current in this case involved the heart and the assumable cause of death was ventricular fibrillation.

The cadaver of an Asian lady was dumped near a hospital. Rigor mortis was fully developed fixing the legs in a semi flexed position. Her underwear and the back of her dress were soaked with blood(pict 1). Autopsy revealed a lacerated wound of the anterior lip of the cervix (pict 2) and a retained placental tissue (pict 3). The cause of death was post partam haemorrhage.
This lady was in labor for more than 24 hours attended by two non-professional women. They delivered the baby and could not deliver the placenta. Her boy friend drove her 150 Km to a private clinic where the treating doctor gave her an injection of methergene and dismissed her from the clinic. In the way back to home she died on the back seat of the car. The boy friend drove till after midnight and dumped her near a hospital.
In this case we have two women acted as midwifes without any professional background who caused laceration of the cervix and failed to deliver the placenta and a professional doctor who also failed to deliver the placenta or treat the shock.

A 25 years old Asian man was digging at the bottom of 5 meters deep ditch,the sides of the ditch suddenly collapsed and he was buried a life.
There was a large amount of wet sand blocking the epiglottis,the oesophagus contained regurgitated stomach contents mixed with sand in its upper part. The trachia and major bronchi were filled with mud.
