Re: Random Medical and Weird I Find ALWAYS UPDATED * child warning

i had 9 gifs, only 3 were small enough grr

second one is mixing blood with venom snake
and last one a squid reacting to soy sauce
first one is self explanatory
Heh, you think VY Canis Majoris is big (the last star in the GIF). It's nothing compared to UY Scuti. Look it up!

Well, . I never heard of a pessary until today.
Pessary goes up your hoop, suppository goes up your "front bum" if youre a girl lol; I think thats the difference between them anyway.

Re: Random Medical and Weird I Find ALWAYS UPDATED * child warning

Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis, also known as Stevens–Johnson Syndrome, is a condition where the top layer your skin literally falls off. Caused by an allergic reaction to drugs, it can be fatal.

A number of medications list as a very rare side effect, and one drug in which it is a notable concern is the antiepileptic/mood stabilizer drug lamotrigine. The drug dosage must be raised slowly. When administered thusly, the risk is low, although there have been cases of patients developing allergies to it after years of use.
He has aids and was treated with drugs for it. This is the adverse side effects he got
There are times when the words you need so badly to describe something just dont exist. This is one of those times. Unbelievable doesnt come close. Ive never seen anything like this; it makes Harlequin Ichthyosis look like a minor rash. Horrific. For Gods sake, the guy is in the terminal stages of AIDS, why not do the merciful thing and give him a boost of diamorphine to end his suffering??? I highly doubt his prognosis is promising.

Wow people, bit of an itch on the bum, go see your doc or this is what happens when the surgeon goes to remove the hemorrhoids

Well, you know the saying: "Itchy bum, surprise to come"

Re: Random Medical and Weird I Find ALWAYS UPDATED * child warning

Came across these photos
7 hour operation to remove a tumour

She looked full term pregnancy
She was too scared to seek medical help until she was bedridden

She ended up being ten stones lighter
amazing!
What are all those blood packs etc? is that how much blood she lost and had to replace? amazing!!!She would be literally half the woman she used to be!!

Re: Random Medical and Weird I Find ALWAYS UPDATED * child warning

okay i was a bit embarrassed to even post this photo but it was too shocking and gross to not share
probably the worst flesh eating photo i have ever seen - yukkk - "keep up with hygiene peopels

Necrotizing Fasciitis
Much more commonly known as flesh-eating bacteria, necrotizing fasciitis is the bacterial infection of the underlying connective tissue, or fascia. It can be caused by streptococcous A, vibrio vulnificus, clostridium perfringens, and bacteroides fragilis, with strep A being the most common by far. These bacteria will often penetrate a deep wound, and can occur due to animal bites or swimming in unclean water. The symptoms will begin with itchiness that will procede to discoloration, swelling and pain as the underlying tissue dies. Eventually the skin will blister out and ooze significant blood and pus. The infection spreads very rapidly, so the best treatment is rapidly excising all infected tissue and a healthy margin of uninfected tissue as well, and covering the area with a skin graft.
How come you were embarrassed to post it? Is that you??

Re: Random Medical and Weird I Find ALWAYS UPDATED * child warning

Geezus! i have heard about reasons why we should do our pelvic floor exercises
After seeing this i am going to do 100 a day.. WTF

DeLancey’s three levels of vaginal support
Apical suspension
Upper paracolpium suspends apex to pelvic walls and sacrum
Damage results in prolapse of vaginal apex
Midvaginal lateral attachment
Vaginal attachment to arcus tendineus fascia and levator ani muscle fascia
Pubocervical and rectovaginal fasciae support bladder and anterior rectum
Avulsion results in cystocele or rectocele
Distal perineal fusion
Fusion of vagina to perineal membrane, body and levators
Damage results in deficient perineal body or urethrocele

Prolapse
Mutifactorial involving both neuromuscular and endopelvic fascial damage
Relaxation of the tissues supporting the pelvic organs may cause downward displacement of one or more of these organs into the vagina, which may result in their protrusion through the vaginal introitus.

Factors promoting prolapse
Erect posture causes increased stress on muscles, nerves and connective tissue
Acute and chronic trauma of vaginal delivery
Aging
Estrogen deprivation
Intrinsic collagen abnormalities
Chronic increase in intraabdominal pressure

Cystocele
Main support of urethra and bladder is the pubo-vesical-cervical fascia
Essentially a hernia in the anterior vaginal wall due to weakness or defect in this fascia
Midline weakness allows bladder to descend causing central cystocele
Tearing of endopelvic fascial connections from lateral sulci to arcus tendinii causes lateral or displacement cystocele
Detachment of pubocervical fascia from pericervical ring causes a transverse or apical cystocele
Symptoms include pelvic pressure and bulge or mass in the vagina

Surgical repair is treatment of choice.Anterior Colporrhaphy,Paravaginal repair and Colpocleisis are the surgical treatment options

Uterine prolapse
Normal cervix located in upper third of vagina
Degree of prolapse measured by position of cervix at maximum intraabdominal pressure, without traction
Complete uterovaginal prolapse is called procidentia
this is a completet prolapse image
I want to spar with it, punch it, like a punchbag lol.
