I can respect that and I have an uncle who was an alcoholic. It took years of treatment until he was clean. He has been clean for decades.

But they still choose to engage in that behavior in the first place. I tried some things and developed a habit and sometimes you have to hit rock bottom before you get help but there is a ton of help out there for these people and many never seek it.

These are extreme cases. Not all drug/tobacco users turn out like this . Just another reason for someone to come up to me saying THAT WILL KILL YOU, HERE LOOK AT THESE PICTURES AND NEWS ARTICLES OF ISOLATED INCIDENTS THAT WERE RELATED TO WHAT YOU'RE DOING!

i disagree , a tweeker is a tweeker is a tweeker, if you use meth AT ALL you a fucking bafoon, there is NO REASON TO PUT MAN MADE CHEMICAL into you body, if your ass cant clean your house or do your homework without dope then you need to kill yourself because your weak and are just taking up parking that us functioning humans can use

Have you ever met someone who suffers from Narcolepsy? Or someone who has Attention Deficit Disorder? These people cannot function without a strong stimulant (such as amphetamine or in very severe cases methamphetamine). Are you implying that they should kill themselves because they're weak for not being able to function without medication?

By the way, antibiotics are technically man made chemicals since they are synthetic modifications of natural compounds. Without them, any bacterial epidemic would likely kill millions, which is what happened when the Bubonic Plague (a bacteria known as Yersinia pestis) killed approximately 75 million in Europe during the 14th century.

Other examples of man made chemicals are Acetaminophen (Tylenol), Ibuprofen (Advil) and Diphenhydramine (Benadryl).

Furthermore, methamphetamine is not a man made chemical. It occurs naturally in the genus Acacia berlandieri species which is a type of shrub native to Mexico and southwestern United States.

Cocaine is not man made (it's simply extracted but not modified in any way other than being turned into a stable form (alkaloid to salt) from the leaves of the coca plant). Does that mean it's okay?

There are countless fully functional adults with well paying full-time white collar jobs who are only able to function at such a level because they use man made chemicals therapeutically.
