The Problem with Drugs...
...is that losing brain cells isn't the only consequence. Countless people have died due to drugs: celebrities, friends, family. There are some people who can try different things and never get addicted. And then there are those of us that get sucked in before we even blink an eye. Chewing Tobacco - Used by placing a small amount between the teeth and gums, and chewed in order to get the flavor and nicotine. (Pictures 1-5 depict a man with cancer due to chewing tobacco) Methamphetamine - Also known as "meth," is a psycho-stimulant. It it used to treat a variety of things, such as ADHD. When used illicitly, and often, users may show signs of schizophrenia (about 20%). "In addition to psychological harm, physical harm, primarily consisting of cardiovascular damage, may occur with chronic misuse or acute overdose." Physical effects of Methamphetamine are several: anorexia nervosa, tachycardia, heart attacks, strokes, and, of course, death. Although some psychological effects may seem harmless (increased self-esteem, self-confidence, energy, etc.) hallucinations, paranoia, and psycho-motor agitation, among others, may occur. Methamphetamine is highly addictive and extremely hard to quit. For more information: visit Anti-Meth.org. (Pictures 6-13; physical effects of Meth) (I was going to post my D.O.C. but because it's one of those things you can easily get a hold of and is obscure in the world of drugs, I'd rather not give out any ideas. If you're super curious, you can PM.) There you have it. Two drugs that seem totally different from each other, yet have the same ending results (so to speak.) |

![]() Desoxyn is used for treating attention deficit disorders with hyperactivity in children. It is also used on short-term basis (ie, a few weeks) in combination with other treatments to treat obesity. Desoxyn may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor. |

Re: The Problem with Drugs...
yeah they chose to do it but a normal person could stop doing it before it got this way. Addicts are wired different and cant stop even if they wanted to (without serious treatment). Addiction/alcoholism is a fucked up disease. It wants to take everything you have before it slowly and eventually kills you.
