Re: Pregnant Woman Covered in Maggots
I would be amazed if either one of them survived that... Dear God it looks like the baby is trying to come out through her mothers belly... This rates right up there as one of the worst things I have ever seen...

Re: Pregnant Woman Covered in Maggots
Hello Mollydoublybarrly... Girl...I have been a Flight Nurse for the past 17 years and I think I can safely say this is one of THE WORST things I have ever seen... And as much as it bothers me to say this (you asked) but I doubt very seriously either one of them are alive today... And while I understand your frustration as to why no one was helping her... In their defense hon they wouldn't have known whether or not she had something that was contagious... And I think that's reasonable because even I would be hesitant to be in the room with her unless I had triple layers of gowns...shoe covers...gloves...even protective eyewear...and anything else I could use for protection before I went in there... But with all that being said... What messed with me the most was when I was looking at her belly and it looked like that baby was going to push right through the skin... Just like in "Aliens"... Yep D.R. you got me on this one.... |

Re: Pregnant Woman Covered in Maggots
My money's on something happening to her, a hit and run maybe, and she wasn't found by people for a couple of days.

Re: Pregnant Woman Covered in Maggots
Clearly you have never had a child. I'm a midwife, and that is definitely a healthy baby in there. Healthy meaning he wants to get out. Healthy meaning that he's moving around very vigorously. Healthy meaning he's at term. This woman is clearly ill & needed help way before now. She is not dead. She is not hooked up to any IVs yet because she has just come into the hospital. They have to cut her clothes off and clean her up and then they will give her an IV, etc. You guys are like , really grasping at straws here. The shite I just read in this thread blew my mind. Maggots moving her like that? From the inside? How stupid. I thought most of you guys were pretty smart but I guess not |
