Re: Post Your Injuries!
3 weeks ago I fell slipped down maybe two stairs in my home. It didnt hurt at first but i yelled as it felt weird and my big toe was bent in the wrong direction. Then the pain kicked in and I had to get my husband home from work to take care of the kids as I couldnt even stand to get them to bed. I was up all night crying in pain and wouldnt go to hospital as i felt embarrassed and that they would tell me to go home and not be a baby. Next day I went and had an xray and I had a really nasty displaced fracture in my big toe. I had to hobble on crutches for a week before going to fracture clinic to see a specialist and get a cast put on. Ive got to have an operation in the future to put pins in it. Im sorry about the ugly photos. I think more than one toe was broken. I swear I turned into Gordon Ramsey that first week every time i needed to stand up. 11 days to go until my cast comes off :) ![]() |

Re: Post Your Injuries!
A burn on my leg from my KTM dirt bike header pipes. I dropped the bike fucking around out the front of my place These shots are 6 days after and it took 2 months to heal. Everytime I stood up I howled. Didn't miss a day of work, and I stand all day.It hurt and cost a mint in dressings and gels. |

Re: Post Your Injuries!
https://ibb.co/26L42KR X-ray taken of my left elbow post-surgery. I had had a freak accident the day before where I had slipped on some ice and fell backwards, and in an attempt to catch my fall with my left hand I had somehow managed to maneuver it in a way that caused my joint to lock in place. So my elbow joint took the full impact of the fall delivered via my lower arm bones. My elbow joint had basically been pulverized and the surgeons spent over 5 hours putting it back together as best they could. |
