Poor Chap’s Leg Reduced to Bone by Tractor
The employee of a plant installed in the city of Atalaia, 50 kilometers from the capital of Alagoas, suffered amputation of the right leg after having his limb crushed by a tractor while working on Tuesday (29). According to witnesses' accounts, the worker was working as a tractor driver when he caught his limb in the PTO. In the images it is possible to see the desperation of colleagues trying to help them and the exposed femur. The victim's foot was even sent to the hospital, but it could not be reimplanted. The State General Hospital confirmed that the victim was admitted to the unit around 11:30 am. F.J.d.S., 32, was submitted to an amputation procedure and his condition is considered stable. The circumstances of the work accident should be investigated by the Civil Police of Alagoas. |
