Gastroschisis vs. thoracoabdominal syndrome vs. ectopia cordis.

Gastroschisis is a birth defect in which an infant's intestines stick out of the body through a defect on one side of the umbilical cord.

The anterior divisions of the seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, and eleventh thoracic intercostal nerves are continued anteriorly from the intercostal spaces into the abdominal wall; hence they are named thoraco-abdominal nerves (or thoracicoabdominal intercostal nerves).

Ectopia cordis is a very rare congenital abnormality where the heart forms out side of the body. The chest wall and sternum are not formed.

Don't think so.
It doesn't looked fully formed either, rather premature.
Was either dead and removed through caesarean or a late abortion performed by caesarean on medical grounds.
Or maybe it was a full term baby but it didn't grow correctly due to the deformities and died not long after birth.
