Re: Pitbull Attack on Grandmother After an Ice Bucket Challenge
Oh and just to ensure everyone knows where I stand on this dog precisely: I hope they put his fucking ass down before he gets the kids. I don't advocate for trying to retrain dogs that have already attacked someone, I kinda think if they do it once they'll do it again. However, I've met countless pitbulls that never attacked anyone, and all the mistreated abused beaten monsters that are created by drug dealers and attacks the kid down the street, gives a bad name and image to all the dogs that never have, and never will harm a human. Those type of people like them because of the way they look, and how effective they are in attacking something when trained to do so. They are a perfect machine for those peoples bad intentions. That does not make them all bad. That makes a bad image because people blame the dog, not the events or people that led him to that point in his life. But, being an ignorant fuck I'm not sure you guys will be able to understand that, as it requires a degree of empathy, I'm sure you lack. |

Re: Pitbull Attack on Grandmother After an Ice Bucket Challenge
Yeah the dog is doomed. That was a pretty bad bite. I've noticed tho that certain pitch voices, seem to trigger dogs to attack. Certain dogs are so protective, it's not safe to have them around others. I had an Akita mix who was great until he hit around 13-14 mos old. He attacked a kid he knew when the kid pointed his finger at the dog and said 'bang'. Then attacked an old lady crossing our property, even tho he was chained--she was speaking to him in a very high pitch, and he knocked her down and bit her leg. I had to put him to sleep. On the way he was just vicious about the cars next to us in traffic. Very sad because he was only like that when family was around. Otherwise he could care less what anyone did |

Re: Pitbull Attack on Grandmother After an Ice Bucket Challenge
Because the kids were "attacking" her. It may have even been because she acted like she was going to attack them. Screeching and flailing while going towards the kids is a really bad idea when a dog is around.

Sorry, but I don't see a poodle or a spaniel jumping for someone's face like that unprovoked.
