A lot of forklift drivers, cowboys, and similar professionals develop this condition from a combination of sweat, dirt, hair, and the constant irritation.

There is a "sinus" formed just above the asshole (that small hole you see to the right) which allows pus to escape the area infected beneath the top of the ass crack; it can be drained in order to alleviate discomfort.

The procedure shown here is usually done in advanced cases for which they just remove the entire infected area. There is also a separate procedure which involves filling the sinus or fistula with a silicone implant to prevent further infection.
