Unfortunately this isn't true in all cases, though maggots (common house fly) are starting to be used again more and more in medicine and it is extremely helpful in steaming infections. There are maggots that eat live flesh. Most only touch dead flesh, but there are breeds of maggots that will eat live flesh. The one of the hair I would think is that. Ditto the tongue, it'd be cut up, rinsed out, no real need for maggots I'd think, same with those teeth, clearly not looked after, but it could just be lazyness. Point is, even if they are all 'good' maggots, you can feel them crawling on you, how disgusting >.>
