Re: Pictures of Christy Mack After Her Attack
These discuss the impacts of being a victim of, or witnessing, domestic violence as a child. These articles don't talk about or research the gender of the parent. They're more saying that it doesn't matter if a child just witnesses violence or is a victim of it, they're more likely to experience negative life outcomes later in life either way. So I don't think you can fairly attribute spousal abuse specifically to having experienced paternal violence as a child. More to domestic violence in general. |

Re: Pictures of Christy Mack After Her Attack
Ok, like whether she's a porn star or stripper or if they were together or not, he clearly beat the shit out of her, and so he needs to be punished. It's never ok to hit a woman, ever. A real man wouldn't be in a situation where that option would even exist. Anyways, they probably will end up getting married. The connection that occurs between an abuser and their victim is really strong for some people. Stronger for people who think they love each other. She probably believed he'd change, or that she deserved it when he beat her before. I'm just saying...Some of y'all are talking like she's lying or had it coming... |
