Terrible. Grinders can get mouthguards made for them at the dentist to protect their teeth from this.

I grind my teeth, but I wear a mouth guard at night so my teeth don't end up like this. Unfortunately we didn't find out soon enough (we didn't have dental insurance until a few months ago) so my top two front teeth have huge chunks ground out of the back. Luckily it's not noticeable unless you shine a bright light on them (they're almost transparent at the bottom in the light). |

Yep- I grind my teeth when I sleep. But my teeth look nothing like that. I hate wearing a guard coz it fills up with spit and chokes me.  |

I had a husband die in 2007. After he died I started grinding my teeth as I slept. Did it for years. I'd wake myself up with that horrible noise and sometimes I'd STILL keep doing it for a few minutes while I was awake! Grief. I don't do it anymore. It somehow stopped by itself. |
