Re: Photographer Committs Suicide After Horrific Photo
I am not sure if this photo is in the right forum. Story behind photo: Kevin Carter, a South African photojournalist took this photograph of a vulture watching a starving child in the midst of a famine in Sudan in 1993. Along with fame, came the criticism. Carter had not done anything to save this young child, and that brought outrage about the ethics of his journalism career. Carter committed suicide after he won the Pulitzer Prize in 1994. |

Re: Photographer Committs Suicide After Horrific Photo
I remember reading about Mr. Carter some 15 years ago. His critics are ignorant morons. This was only one child out of the thousands who faced starvation. Thanks for posting!

Re: Photographer Committs Suicide After Horrific Photo
Stop supporting starving africans with food because all they do is sit around and breed more starving children they can't support. Let them die out like they are supposed to. You're part of the problem if you donate food to these useless 'humans'. Survival of the fittest.
