It almost looks like a Port Wine Stain of the genitals -- in which a genetic defect is responsible for a birth mark, called a Port Wine Stain, to go awry and grow bigger and more vascular and out of proportion. I've seen these birth marks on people's faces -- which is where they often are. And Port Wine Stain birth marks are common enough. But they usually don't go haywire like some.

And the subject is definitely male. I doubt the subject is a hermaphrodite. But there is no way to tell definitively through this photo because the penis and tumorous tissue are blocking the view of what other tissues or gender identification may be underneath the shaft, glands, and tumorous, possibly Port Wine Stain.

Here is a Youtube clip of a baby who was born with a pretty bad PWS. But surgery corrected it, though. Without surgery, children who have them as bad as she did can experience them growing massive, purple, and out of control. If you have them on the face and head like she did, it can make you look like your face is melting off by adulthood. I seen one guy with a really bad one on the Discovery Health channel. And he was refused surgery at first because it was so vascular. Sorry, though, I couldn't find a clip of him anywhere. But here is the link to the baby girl, who I'm very happy is cured. Yaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Oh, I think they'll also referred to as hermangiomas. And hermangiomas of the genitals look like the one on this thread sometimes when they get real bad. And they interfere with other vascular processes sometimes -- like the lymphatic system, for example. So that's why I thought this was a hermangioma or Port Wine Stain of the genitals. Sorry about that.
