Fuck contacts. I'll stick to glasses if I ever need them.

Re: Parasites Growing on Nasty Teen's Contact Lenses

Thanks for the advice. If and when I decide to try contacts again, I will be sure to keep this in mind. Until than, I think I'm going to stick with glasses.
Oh, and if they go above the part of your eye you can see, don't worry! They cannot leave your eye, will not go into your head, and should, move back down to the original position, if fitted properly.

I knew a guy who thought he lost his contacts, put in another pair, started feeling something weird in his eyes, and realized, he had two lenses in, one on his iris and one trying to get back into position.

I've actually managed to put both in one eye, and then couldn't figure out why my vision was so messed up.

Oh god, that must of been uncomfortable especially when he tried to move his eyes around. Yeah that was my fear at first and than I remembered that we have an optic nerve along with many muscles surrounding our eyeballs so it blocked the contact lense.

And that's why I can't be bothered with contacts. Besides, I like my glasses.

OMG! Very Frightening. It is simply a matter of disbelief to me how many people still do not wash hands.

Re: Parasites Growing on Nasty Teen's Contact Lenses

Just get laser eye surgery if you were a blind bat like me.

I used contact lenses for exactly 2 weeks until I found they were more trouble than they were worth and I'd be saving a lot more long term with laser eye surgery.

Mine cost 1.5k per eye, so it was incredibly expensive but its the best decision I ever made.

Eek! Did it hurt? I hope it was only for the shortest time possible and you didn't do any damage.

I've never done that. Back in the old days, with clear lenses, they used be a black dot on one so you could tell them apart.

I used to work with a woman who had the same prescription in both eyes, the only I ever heard of.

I've gotten prescription eyeglasses that were wrong.

I put a pair on and told the woman they weren't right. She looked at me, then checked them and they had put the same prescription in both lenses.

Only one eye had an astigmatism, but, I believe they both do now. Who knows? I do need some of kind of vision correction.

They improved with diabetes, which was weird to me at my age, but, I'm happy about it!

It didn't hurt, but did feel really weird. Still not sure how I managed to do it. Lol

Even I who does not use any contact lenses or glasses know that you are supposed to clean them in the contact lens solution liquid. -.-''
