I get a lot of ear infections and wind up with fluid in the middle ear part. Actually, I have that problem now. It's definitely not fun. Ugh! The Dr recommended using some rubbing alcohol in the ear canal, right after bathing or swimming. But, it's not comfortable, if the ear canal is already inflamed.
